In
the batch system, the product is then moved to the Dry-Off Oven where
excess moisture is removed by applying heat. On the conveyor line the part travels through an inline dry-off oven. |
| The entire process of preparing the substrate for the powder coating is critical. Dirt, oil, corrosion and moisture will inhibit a lasting, quality powder coated finish. | ![]() |

Prior
to powder application all required items are plugged or masked. Masking
is generally used for threaded items, spindles, electronic equipment grounds,
etc.
After this phase of the Powder Coating Procedure the product is ready for powder coating. |
